An organic solar cell is a type of polymer solar cell that uses organic electronics, a branch of electronics that deals with conductive organic polymers or small organic molecules, for light absorption and also charge transport in order to produce electricity from sunlight by the photovoltaic effect. Combined with the flexibility of organic molecules, organic solar cells are potentially cost-effective for photovoltaic applications.

According to the fact that thermodynamic, structural and transport properties of ionic liquids are very susceptible to a negligible amount of impurities, therefore, molecular dynamics simulation as a predictive tool can be used for estimating the aforementioned properties. Moreover, a profound comprehension about their interactions with metal nano cluster can be useful in electrochemistry and metal nano cluster synthesize.

 In chemistry, photocatalysis is the acceleration of a photoreaction in the presence of a catalyst. In catalyzed photolysis, light is absorbed by an adsorbed substrate. In photogenerated catalysis, the photocatalytic activity depends on the ability of the catalyst to create electron–hole pairs, which generate free radicals (e.g. hydroxyl radicals: •OH) able to undergo secondary reactions.

Solvent effect is the group of effects that a solvent has on chemical reactivity. solvents can have an effect on solubility, stability and reaction rates and choosing the appropriate solvent allows for thermodynamic and kinetic control over a chemical reaction. Besides, more details of magnitude order of solvent-solute interactions accompanied with their organization can be achieved by using ab initio calculations.

 Nima Soltani

 Nanoparticles have potential applications to be used as therapeutic nanodevices within the emerging field of nanomedicene. In our work, we use molecular dynamic to investigate interactions between proteins/peptides and inorganic surfaces. Molecular simulation methods inherently provide the ability to predict and visualize protein-surface interactions with full atomistic details.

Chemical kinetics includes investigations of how different experimental conditions can influence the speed of a chemical reaction and yield information about the reaction's mechanisms and transition states.
