Research Area



Our research group is a part of the chemistry department at Sharif University of Technology (SUT). We are Interested in the design, synthesis and study of structural and photophysical properties of new inorganic and organometallic compounds.
The synthesis of new compounds with interesting photophysical properties and the investigation on their emission-structure relationships are the main themes of our research. Examples of these compounds include [Cu(I), Ag(I), and Au(I)] and platinum metal complexes. We, also are interested in the synthesis of new organic luminophore derivatives such as cyanines, perylene and naphthalene mono or bis imides, carbazoles, and the synthesis of their transition metal complexes.
