September 1961 - June 1965, Rocket Power, Inc. Research Laboratories, Pasadena, California. This position involved research on several Governmental sponsored projects, mainly study of the thermodynamic properties of light metals halides, design and construction of high temperature furnaces (resistance and electron bombardments), and high vacuum systems. In addition, I was also involved in writing various proposals for research programs in various fields of thermodynamics and kinetics. I was also one of the participants in a preliminary studies of automobile exhaust products for the design and construction of antismog devices. In June 1965, I resigned from my position with Rocket Power in order to continue my graduate works at the University of Alberta.
